Industry veteran Chad Cornelius to direct all activities of PMO Department, supervise staff
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Hoosier Energy has named Chad Cornelius Manager of the Project Management Office. Cornelius and his team are responsible for ensuring standards, practices and procedures are consistently applied across the company’s project work plan. His primary focus is to build, standardize and continuously improve departmental and interdepartmental project management processes.
Cornelius’ team is also tasked with Hoosier’s project work plan management, establishing and implementing standardized administrative and execution procedures. The team also coordinates operations project justification.
“Chad brings extensive knowledge in project and construction management, previously operating in those roles both inside and outside of Hoosier Energy,” said Will Kaufman, Vice President of Technical Services. “This diversity of experience and his commitment to those he serves is a perfect fit to lead the continued implementation of the Project Management Office. Chad’s positive attitude and proven ability to bring teams together to focus on strategic objectives will ensure the PMO is up to the task of managing a growing project work plan.”
Cornelius began his career with Hoosier Energy in 2010 as a Construction Field Coordinator, and worked his way to Engineering and Performance Manager, most recently serving as Senior Project Manager. Before joining Hoosier Energy, he served with Sterling Boiler Mechanical and Hensel Phelps Construction in various engineering, construction and project management roles. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana State University in construction management in 2008.
