There is help navigating these waters. The Hoosier Energy Communications Toolbox has a “crisis toolkit” to use as a foundation to build a successful plan.

This can help prepare messages that are timely and accurate based on established communication protocols and processes. This is especially valuable during crisis situations that benefit from highlighting co-op attributes such as cooperative principles and community concern.
